With major cities around the world facing the issues of overcrowding and pollution, there has been an upsurge in demand for spaces close to nature, which are flexible and eco friendly in nature too. On the other hand, there are people who would give anything to be close to nature whatever the circumstances are. Hence, much to their delight, UK designing entity 3rd Space has brought a series of flexible and stylish garden rooms which can configure, customize, relocate and extend at will, and as per individual preferences.
3rd Space, as a designing house, was formed as a joint partnership between famed architect Paul Grindley and project manager, Ben Jardine. They both have been using their experience and expertise to design spaces, which are eco friendly in nature, stylish in design, and give nature lovers what they always seek; residing close to nature. The current sets of rooms are available in C-shaped, L-shaped or even bespoken unique shapes which customers can choose from. The materials used to construct these spaces are carefully handcrafted by a team of specialists, and also offer a large variety from which the customer could take a pick, including the common birch ply and the Western Red Cedar.

Just that we mentioned that these spaces are highly customizable, and differ quite a bit in designing and construction material aspects, there isn’t a price tag fixed. However, as a rough estimate, the construction of a 2.4 meter x 2.4 meter room could cost a buyer $22,400 upwards, and could take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and deliver. For those interested in such innovative designs and concepts, we have earlier shown some futuristic spaces in the ODA personal spaces, the modular solar caravan, and also the Mercedes PETRONAS modular homes. On an objective platform, the 3rd Space garden rooms appear to be more innovative on some grounds, but since this is a subjective area, it is always better to pick and choose the best option.
