These people carried some of the belongings with them to the space that are now worth million dollars. These belongings will go under the hammer at RR Auction of Amherst, N.H. that begins from September 15.

1. #551 First Lunar Bible

Mission: Apollo 14 moon mission
Initial bid: $5000
The tiny Bible was carried by Edgar Mitchell to the Apollo 14 moon mission in the year 1971. This one-of-a kind microfilm King James Bible has all 1245 pages of King James Version of the Bible and measures 1.5 x 1.5. The Bible was specially made by NASA scientists, administrators, engineers and astronauts and the whole thing was supervised by the chaplain Rev. John Stout. This Bible was earlier scheduled to be sent in the Apollo 13 mission but due to some technical issues it was carried on Apollo 14 mission that landed safely on February 5, 1971. The Bible is displayed in a solid 22 Karat gold frame that will be available with a handmade leather case at the auction.
2. #584 Bulova stopwatch

Mission: Apollo 15
Initial bid: $1000
The Bulova stopwatch watch was carried by Dave Scott on Apollo 15 mission. The watch has two dial — first one is a 2-inch dial with registration up to 30 seconds and the other dial registering up to 30 minutes. The numerals of the watch are in red color with an S logo in it. The stop watch comes with letter of legitimacy from Dave Scott.
3. #471 - Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin letter

Mission: Apollo 11
Initial bid: $1000
This amazing letter is a first message exchanged form one world to another. The letter was typed on NASA letterhead dated June 23, 1969. The letter was sent by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and exactly stated:
“Colonel Aldrin and I appreciate your taking the time to write us for your suggestion on a message from the lunar surface. We do not know at this time what our inclination will be should we be successful in our landing attempt. I certainly hope you will be pleased with whatever message we do have and the impressions that people on earth receive from our efforts.” In fine condition, with Armstrong’s flourish lightly affecting Aldrin’s signature, and the opening stroke of another Armstrong signature, inadvertently started in Aldrin’s space. Accompanied by a printed Apollo 11 mission information sheet from NASA, as well as a couple of news clippings mentioning Armstrong’s and Aldrin’s moonwalks and possible statements when touching the lunar surface.”
4. #479 - Neil Armstrong Gloves

Mission: Astronaut training

These are very special gloves that belong to Neil Armstrong, the first man who landed on moon. Measures 16.5” long, the gloves were specially made for the training program and have rigid metal inside with beta cloth covering outside. The glove has certain information on the arm that shows the authenticity of the piece like: “CP2001 Glove Assy EV, Left A7L-203000-11; Model No. 2001A; Size: N. Armstrong; Serial 008; Date: 4/68; Contract No: NAS 9-610074897.”

This photograph bears all the seven astronauts along with their original signature on it who were part of Mercury 7 mission. The picture measures 8.25 x 10.5 and is printed on a vintage semi-gloss paper. The seven astronauts were as follows:
