Mr. Jensen had to invest $450,000 to do up the coach car, but due to the commercial success, he has been doing well for himself. For private long distance trips, customers can hire the coach car, which will be attached to the long distance trains traveling below 110 mph, and enjoy the charm of the journey. The speed is mentionable in this case, as it happens to the legally permissible limit for private train car owners.

The cost of the travel is mainly borne by the customers who charter this train car. Mr. Jensen and his family are crew members who have their fees, but apart from that, the customer has to pay for overnight parking fees which are $100 per night, along with $2.10 per mile charge of the primary train carrier, and also the $1,600 for storage facilities all of which is charged by Amtrak for transporting private rail cars.
