Rock music festivals have a special relevance to that music genre’s fans in the west, which is displayed in the ardent following of these events in that portion of the world. Many brands have associated themselves with such concerts, to introduce limited edition memorabilia and rake in the benefits of brand promotion. One such recent example was the Buffalo Chip Rally earlier this year, which saw the Sturgis bike and guitar combo. Following a similar pathway now, was French car maker Renault and master guitar maker Gibson, to produce the special edition Gordini Renault Car and guitar, which bears a similar blue color with the traditional white stripes, associated with this edition of designs. They were unveiled for the Rock en Seine Festival held recently.
Renault, the French car maker, has shown its futuristic appeal in vehicles such as the Nepta Concept vehicle, and had previously introduced a special design category called ‘Gordini’, the products of which had the signature blue tone with 2 white stripes on them. On partnering with Gibson, that has given us the Sammy Hagar signature and the Angus Young SGs, Renault had created the limited edition coupe car and the similar themed electric guitar. The car has special additions like the blue seat backrests, gear knobs, dashboards, steering wheel, door trimmings, sun visors, etc. with many places having the engraved Gibson logo on them. The car’s external body is the most prominent testimony where the blue bodied car has the signature white stripes, running from front end to the back. Other addition includes the 17-inch blue ‘n’ white alloy wheels, which are based on the dual tone designs. The guitar carries the same color scheme. Other than the black headstock, the body of the Gibson guitar bears the Gordini combination of blue and white stripes.

Its appealing looks are indeed a signature of success for Renault, further capitalizing on their popularity in Europe. The designing theme, which uses the bright blue and white combination, certainly brings out the sporty flavor, and the one who end up with the limited edition memorabilia will certainly have many envious onlookers.
