Painting sold for more than six times its expected price
Investment banker and art collector Ahmet Khan bought the screen print of a blue-faced Mao at a Christie's auction in January.
The piece was originally estimated to sell for $30,000; Khan had to far exceed the $80,000 limit he initially set for himself.
The painting was once owned by Dennis Hopper. It's riddled with bullet holes from when the late actor shot it up in a paranoid fit.
