Months after the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, next much talked about wedding was of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries that happened on 20th August, 2011 which was no less than a fairy tale. Every minute thing related to her wedding was taken care of very well by her. Kim ensured that everything was just perfect and princely, right from the wedding dresses to lavish reception and, of course purse that happens to be an important accessory. The beautiful bride carried the wedding purse made by a well-known designer handbag maker Judith Lieber. The elegant bags were designed not just for the bride but for the entire Kardashian’s family.

Kim appeared in a formal floor length Antonio Berardi gown complimented with gold metal belt and matching Judith Leiber’s radiant crystal clutch. The bag was in the shape of a wedding cake done in black and white to match the day’s theme. In accordance with the theme, each clutch was studded with Judith Leiber crystal monogram with classic block letters.
Fashioned by enameled bow ornaments and size-graduated jet crystal baguettes, the bride’s purse was decorated in jet ribbons. The bag was then festooned with vintage oval onyx cabachons and small mother of pearl tiles from Leiber’s stone store to craft the geometric pattern. The bag was hand-painted and a week was spent on hand-placing the stones in their New York City design studio and atelier.
Other than this iconic bag, the designer also hand-crafted clutches for the family that were finished with the patent signature “something blue” lining that the designer uses in all her bridal collection handbags. The bags were handed over to the bride and the family at the rehearsal dinner, a night before the wedding. Kim said “It was so much fun and it was kind of the night where everyone gave their speeches and just really had a good time”. The blinged clutches were gifted to each bridesmaid -Khloé, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie and Kaela- with the initials of their names on the clutch.
