Some pieces of furniture do a lot more than just adding the aesthetic value to your living room. The maker of one such furniture is an Italian company Natuzzi which is known for its intricate work in the field of contemporary furniture. Earlier, we have seen numerous designs of furniture such as ‘Surround’ sofa that was equipped with iPod dock and speakers and the iconic Sound Chair that has built-in loudspeakers which can be connected to your iPod or any MP3 player. Well once again, Natuzzi has come up with a sound chair but this time the chair has been designed in collaboration with a well-known Italian designer Davide Bianchi who is known to create unique furniture and lavish interior.

To celebrate the success of this sound chair, Natuzzi invited young designers from all over the UK as this chair is an inspiration to them. These young designers were invited to re-design the iconic chair and out of few hundred only ten designs have been selected which will be exhibited at the London Design Festival from 17-25 September. This exhibition was named as “Chair Affair exhibition” and all the diligent designers tried their best to modify the texture, color scheme and completely revamp the design.
Davide Bianchi’s version of the Natuzzi Sound Chair is the most stunning chair amongst all other beautiful designs. His version of chair has been redesigned with cream color urban upholstery that has been adorned with handful golden screws that complement the cream color cover very well. The front head rest and the complete back have been embellished with golden screws that have given the iconic chair a whole new look.

Other than Davide Bianchi’s version, Melanie Porter’s version of the Natuzzi Sound Chair is also an interesting one. He has re-deigned the chair with ample colorful knitwear design as he is a knitwear designer since 10 years and has worked for number of international brands. He has used pastel and subtle colors in his version of chair that can add beauty to any living room.
