The most expensive Porsche ever sold at auction
A rare Porsche race car from the 1970s sold for nearly $4 million at an auction held by Bonhams and Butterfields in California in August 2010.
The machine had previously been owned by the Chandon family of France and car collector Mike Amalfitano.
