The Property: Spelling Manor, a mansion in Los Angeles, California situated at the Holmby Hills that belonged to a television producer Aaron Spelling, was built in 1988 and is America’s most expensive mansion. The house has a new owner as it has been bought by the daughter of a British billionaire and Formula 1 Chief Bernie Ecclestone Petra.
The house is listed in world’s most expensive houses at the first position and is spread in the huge area of 4.7acre. The mansion is amid the lavish surroundings made in French château-style home, which has a double staircase inspired by ‘Gone with the wind’. The house was listed by the famous listing agent Sally Forster Jones of Coldwell Banker Previews International.

The Setting: The Spelling Manor sits on 56,500 square feet is located amid beautiful Holmby Hills and offers implausible sight of the nearby woods.The house beats the most lavish building in the country that is the White House, in terms of the square footage and number of rooms. The house was on sale since two and a half years with the list piece of nine figures by ex owner Candy Spelling (the widow of TV producer Aaron Spelling.
