Olympic size swimming pool, copious rooms designated for arbitrary purposes, a deck, and a personalized helipad, sounds like we are talking about a lavish hotel? But, there are people who love to splurge on getting really lavishluxurious homes too. These people are obviously the rich and the famous celebrities who spend on really opulent homes. One such celebrity is Brad Pitt who is selling his 4,000-square foot mansion in the coastal community of Malibu, California for $13.75 million.
Mid-century modern home faces Point Mugu State Park on one side, and has incredible Pacific Ocean view on the other. The manor has four-bedrooms, four-bathrooms and beach access to a private cove. Pitt bought the home for $8.41 million in 2005 and got it extensively renovated with modern stainless kitchen with top-line appliances, bamboo flooring and walls of glass overlooking the ocean.
The house was approved for an additional floor to be designed by Malibu-based designer Christopher R. Sorensen, who is known for his environmentally friendly designs. Further, the house was on sale in 2009 at the list price of $18 million, but never got sold. Bratt Pitt and his partner Angelina has recently rented 16th century mansion in Glasgow, and currently owns homes in Cambodia, New Orleans and the South of France.
