The most expensive Rolex ever sold
This ultra-rare, oversized stainless steel made in 1942 was sold at Christie's important watches auction in Geneva in May 2011.
The split-second timepiece is one of only 12 created, and one of eight currently in existence.
The watches were made for famous gentleman racing drivers in Italy, according to Christie's.
